Job Description

We are looking for an Android Developer to work on the customization and optimization of the Android operating system for in-vehicle use. This role involves deep system tailoring, from low-level OS layers to user-facing applications, ensuring a seamless and optimized experience for automotive environments.

You will be responsible for developing bespoke Android functionalities and working across multiple software layers to enhance system performance and ensure compatibility with hardware components. Your work will include building both backend and user-facing applications using Kotlin and the Android SDK, with a focus on areas such as electrification, connectivity, and system efficiency.

UI design and implementation will be an important part of your role, applying best practices in Android architecture and user experience. You'll contribute to performance improvements across the stack, identifying and solving bottlenecks, and ensuring that applications run reliably under automotive conditions.

You will work closely with cross-functional Scrum teams, collaborating on system integration, testing, and problem-solving to ensure robust and scalable solutions. The role requires a mix of low-level Android knowledge, application development skills, and a strong sense of collaboration in an agile development environment.
