JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant and horizontally scalable services
Using modern and open-source technologies in a cloud environment, deliver and measure to identify areas of opportunity for Ad Product growth and efficiency.
Improve the throughput, latency and reliability of our services
Build scalable and high-performance web services with clean, maintainable codes.
Write effective Application Program Interfaces (APIs) and technical documentation.
Design high-volume, low-latency APIs for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
Produce software solutions ensuring alignment to business requirements, business processes and best practices for effective software development.
Alignment and communication between all teams such as Back-end Development, Design and Product Development team to ensure the success of each development sprint.
Improve software quality using agile practices such as code review, unit testing and integration testing.
Conduct system and performance management, application vulnerability management and control, software release management.
Plan and commission production system implementation.
R&D and introducing new features to enhance the capability.
Motivate and mentor the team members.
REQUIREMENTS:
WHO YOU ARE:
6-7 year's experience in Cloud Application, ideally AWS
Good understanding of Audience Management systems, Data Management Platforms and iab standards for Ad Delivery.
Must have understanding of CDN and Ads solutions.
Reasonable knowledge of Internet & Broadcast video streaming/distribution solutions in IPTV Satellite and OTT network environments.
Thorough knowledge of systems, cloud, infrastructure, middleware, microservices, software development, network and especially in 24x7 operations environment
Good knowledge and experience in developing and deploying REST APIs
Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express, Strong Loop and others
Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, ECS, API Gateway (and Authorizer etc.)
Good knowledge and experience in Redis, its data types, and its use cases
Must know Relational RDS and Non-relational database development (DynamoDB, Elasticsearch)
Hands on experience in web securities, authentication, access & authorization mechanism. Must be familiar with JSON Web Tokens
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
Should have experience with Agile framework, Jira tools such as Atlassian
Experience in integration testing, unit testing and code reviews
Should have understanding of bitbucket pipeline and terraform
Should know CloudFormation templates
Experience managing a team with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple teams
The candidates will have a strong technical, analytical, and ad product background – with a hunger to optimize marketing campaigns
Training and/or certification in relevant area such as:
1. Java
2. MS .NET
3. Oracle
4. Microsoft SQL
