We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (Senior Associate) who is excited to build, automate, and support modern cloud platforms! In this role, you will help design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that power microservices-based systems. This position is well suited for someone with a strong DevOps foundation who is eager to grow their skills, learn from experienced engineers, and make a real impact across the software delivery lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
Apply business and technical requirements to help design and implement DevOps and infrastructure solutions
Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions, with support and guidance from senior team members
Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Support the reliability, performance, and availability of cloud-based systems
Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to deliver practical, high-quality solutions
Follow established DevOps practices, coding standards, and security guidelines
Take ownership of assigned work and deliver outcomes with growing independence
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Assist with troubleshooting incidents and resolving deployment or infrastructure issues
Communicate technical challenges clearly and escalate when support is needed
Actively develop technical and domain knowledge through hands-on work, training, and certifications
Key Responsibilities
Understand and analyse business use cases and technical requirements
Build and support infrastructure for microservices-based applications
Assist with automating infrastructure deployments using IaC tools
Support CI/CD pipelines used by multiple development teams
Help implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve system reliability
Contribute ideas to improve existing DevOps tools, pipelines, and processes
Work within Agile and Lean delivery methodologies
Support solutions throughout the product lifecycle, from development to deployment and operations
Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and resilience standards
Capture requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable technical tasks
Qualifications & Experience
Professional qualification or equivalent practical experience
2–5 years’ experience in a DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering role
Experience working in a software delivery environment
Working knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps tooling
Understanding of SDLC and CI/CD concepts
Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and best practices
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
Scripting experience using Python or Bash
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS experience is a plus!)
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
Experience using Git-based version control systems
Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting concepts
Exposure to security, governance, and compliance practices in cloud environments
AWS certification is desirable but not required
