Guidewire Business Analyst

Job Location:

• Chennai | Pune | Hyderabad & Bangalore.

Required Experience:

• 6 – 12 years of experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience as Guidewire Senior BA (G7/G8) with Insurance domain knowledge.

• Australia Motor product experience will be an added advantage.

• Hands-on experience in elicitation, documentation, and analysis of complex business requirements/user stories for Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.

• Ability to work with client stakeholders, analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements, and translate business needs into functional specifications.

• GW Analyst Certification – mandatory.

Essential Skills:

• Strong experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.

• Proven capability in requirement elicitation, user story documentation, and business analysis.

• Solid understanding of Insurance domain processes and workflows.

• Ability to interface with client stakeholders and bridge business needs with technical teams.

• Experience in Agile methodology with hands-on participation in ceremonies, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with Australia Motor Insurance products.

• Familiarity with Guidewire configurations or integrations.

• Working knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools.

• Exposure to policy, billing, or claims transformation programs.

• Understanding of API-based integrations and modern enterprise platforms.

Essential Qualification:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

• Guidewire Business Analyst Certification – mandatory.
