Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior BCM Consultant to join our growing team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our clients on developing and implementing a robust
business continuity plans to build operational resilience against disruptions and ensure swift recovery.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the current business continuity and risk management practices.
  • Perform BIAs to determine and prioritize the critical business functions that will require recovery strategies.
  • Carry out comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats to business operations.
  • Identify gaps and areas for improvement relative to ISO 22301, 27005 and ISO 31000 standards and other related standards and best practices.
  • Create a scalable and adaptable business continuity and risk management framework ensuring it supports all critical business functions and complies with international standards.
  • Develop business and IT strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Elaborate comprehensive documentation for all processes, assessments, plans, and tests conducted. This include:                                                                                                               
  1. Building actionable plans (Crisis Plans, Communication Plans, etc.) for response and recovery for various scenarios.                                                                                                                     
  2. Elaborating communication plans to keep internal and external stakeholders informed and involved.     
  3. Developing crisis governance and related plans.                                                                              
  4. Developing or revising policies and procedures (BCP, IT, Transversal) that support management and business continuity goals according to standards and best practices.                  
  5. Ensuring that business continuity plans, policies and procedures are integrated with internal processes and IT systems to enable swift and coordinated response to incidents.                                               
  • Designing and delivering training programs for internal concerned stakeholders to ensure they understand their roles in risk management and business continuity.
  • Planning and conducting tests (IT, Crisis) to validate the effectiveness of the business continuity plans and risk response strategies.   
  • Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) related to risk management and business continuity readiness.
  • Establishing mechanisms for updating and refining business continuity and risk management plans in order to ensure:                                                                                                                               
  1. Their evolution meets the organization changes and growth                                                       
  2. Ensure business continuity and risk management practices meet all legal, regulatory, and standard requirements.
  • Assisting the organization through the process of obtaining related certifications (such as ISO 22301).

Qualifications

  • Master degree in Business Continuity, Emergency Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, or or a related field.
  • Relevant experience (2 – 5 years) as a BCM Consultant or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of business continuity principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Detail oriented, client focused, with a pragmatic approach.
  • Relevant certifications in BCM (such as ISO 22301) or related would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.

Additional Information

This role necessitate mobility flexibility, allowing individuals to work interchangeably between Tunis and Saudi Arabia.
