The Business Development Manager will focus on driving sales, generating leads, and building relationships with enterprise accounts in India through consultative selling.
About The role
Frost & Sullivan is seeking a senior Business Development Manager / Account Manager (BDM/AM) to drive sales in India. The BDM / AM will be part of the India Commercial and support in acquiring customers by offering strategic solutions through consultative selling.
Role responsibilities
- Open doors with enterprise accounts through cold calls, emails, social media, networking events / conferences and introduce F&S solutions through a consultative sales approach
- Generate qualified sales leads / opportunities for the selected practice areas and achieve all specified key performance indicators
- Proactively forge relationships with potential Client organizations, to gain a deeper understand of potential business needs.
- Strengthen the Frost & Sullivan brand with defined client organisations
- Accumulate and maintain a comprehensive knowledge/understanding of the industry dynamics in which you operate (including market dynamics/forces and an appreciation of the research/ advisory needs in order to identify key business opportunities
Experience & Competencies
- Experience in selling advisory/ consulting/ research services in India
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening skills with focus on creating tailored solutions that create customer value
- Ability to generate sales lead/opportunities via a proactive approach, using various modes (social media, industry/ event networking, tele-calling, email campaigns etc.)
- Able to work autonomously in-line with the achievement of specific individual lead generation targets and KPIs
- Ability to develop strong internal and external working relationships
