Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Business Process Specialist (AI Training Deployment & Execution ) to join Applications Development and Support -CAT IT Team.
The AI Training Deployment Lead will be responsible for overseeing the execution of enterprise-wide AI talent upskilling initiatives. This role involves collaborating with the enterprise learning and development team, Caterpillar IT HR team, and other stakeholders to ensure effective deployment and monitoring of AI training programs. The AI Training Deployment Lead will also manage the governance activities related to training, ensuring that all personnel receive necessary legal and compliance training before licenses or access are granted.
The preference for this role is to be based out of Chennai - Brigade World Trade Center
What you will do

  • Lead the deployment and monitoring of AI training programs across the enterprise, working closely with the learning and development team and Caterpillar IT HR team.
  • Ensure the execution of AI upskilling initiatives, aligning with the organization's strategic goals for talent development in AI.
  • Maintain and monitor AI training platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of the enterprise and are up-to-date with the latest training content.
  • Track individual training progress and ensure that all employees receive the required legal and compliance training before AI licenses or access are approved.
  • Manage governance activities related to AI training, including documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs, develop training content, and implement training solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of AI training programs, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that all training programs adhere to legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, including Responsible AI principles.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all AI training deployment-related queries and issues.
  • Develop and deliver communication and awareness programs to promote AI training and upskilling initiatives within the organization.


What you will have

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a training deployment or program management role, with prior experience in Generative AI or AI-related training initiatives.
  • Proven experience in managing enterprise-wide training programs and upskilling initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage governance and compliance activities related to tr
  • Strong understanding of AI concepts, technologies, and their application in enterprise settings.
  • Experience with training deployment, program management, and learning platforms.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and governance related to training and development.
  • Proficient in using tools for tracking and managing training programs and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including HR, IT, and business units.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to track training progress and ensure compliance.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) and training platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI ethics and Responsible AI training.
  • Background in HR, learning and development, or a related field is a plus.

Information Capture : Knowledge of the methods, channels and processes to obtain needed information; ability to identify, capture and document relevant business information in an auditable, organized, understandable and easily retrievable manner.
Level Expert: • Speaks to knowledge management issues related to information capture. • Plays a leadership role in establishing organization's standards, policies, and procedures. • Exerts influence and directly impacts organization initiatives for documentation management. • Discusses pros and cons of major applications and documentation sources and methods. • Monitors industry trends and directions and discusses possible impact on internal policies. • Contributes to organization and industry best practices for documenting information.
