Job Summary:
As a Ecommerce Business Analyst,you will play a critical role in the end to end project context right from detailing of Epics,Stories to deployment/releases in an Agile environment with stand-up meetings,backlog groomings,UI design sessions, releases etc.
Be able to work with Business/product owners on the one hand and the developers on the other seamlessly . This role bridges the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, focusing on the functional aspects of the ecommerce system & it's B2B stores. The analyst will test new functionalities, and provide ongoing support to maintain a high-performing and customer-centric B2B online store.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate requirements discussion to elicit requirements working with business owners,product owners .
Work with PO's to understand epics and break it down into stories and guide them through the backlog grooming process.
Work with Designers to understand Figma designs and create requirements of UI changes
Collaborate with technical teams (developers, system administrators) to explain & test features related to Ecommerce B2B stores.
Functional Configuration & Optimization:
Deep knowledge of Functional Configuration ecommerce platform settings, including product catalogs, pricing, promotions, order management,B2B organizational hierarchy and checkout,punchout processes,integration with SAP SD etc.
Understand and test new features and enhancements which get implemented as part of Monthly Releases and Hotfixes.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the ecommerce system.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications in the form of bugs,enhancements for development teams.
Develop and execute functional test plans and test cases.
Conduct Sanity testing,User Story Acceptance criteria tests,Execute Regression test cases to ensure that implemented solutions meet business requirements.
Identify and report defects, and track their resolution.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience of 6 plus years in Business Analysis, with a good Domain knowledge of Ecommerce platforms ,Order Management,Product Catalog,UI design ideas and preferable knowledge of B2B/B2C stores ,B2B organizational hierarchies, Punchout, Product Catalogs, Warehousing management concepts, Integration with SAP Backend,.
Good to have Exposure to SAP Hybris Backoffice .
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.Worked on Creation & Detailing ,Grooming & Refinement,Testing of User stories
Willing to join Monthly Release calls occuring on one weekend in a month.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience as a functional consultant or business analyst in an ecommerce Production support environment.
Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Hybris, Salesforce Commerce Cloud,Magento etc.).
Familiarity with functional testing and quality assurance practices.
Experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA,Servicenow or similar.
Understand integrations with SAP ,Salesforce etc.
Experience & Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. 6+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, as a Business analyst who may have worked briefly as a Product Owner.
Preferred Certifications:
Certificed Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO) /Safe Product Owner (SAFe PMPO)
