Job Description:
At Alation, operational excellence powers every high-impact campaign. As Campaign & Account-Based Marketing Manager, you will own the execution, performance, and optimization of integrated campaigns, ABM programs, and paid initiatives that drive measurable pipeline impact.
You will translate strategy into disciplined execution. You will bring structure to complex cross-functional initiatives. And you will ensure every campaign is aligned to business priorities, optimized through data, and delivered with urgency and accountability.
This is a revenue-connected role. Success is measured by outcomes, not activity.
Core ResponsibilitiesIntegrated Campaign Leadership
Own the full lifecycle of integrated marketing campaigns, from initial strategy brainstorming through launch and optimization
Build detailed timelines, workback plans, and stakeholder alignment frameworks.
Facilitate campaign kickoffs, executive updates, and milestone reviews.
Identify risks early, remove blockers, and maintain execution velocity.
Ensure deliverables meet high standards of quality, consistency, and business alignment.
Account-Based Marketing & Paid Program Ownership
Develop and execute targeted ABM programs aligned to priority accounts and pipeline objectives.
Partner closely with Sales to define account selection, segmentation strategy, messaging, and activation plans.
Manage the day-to-day operations of paid media programs (digital ads, syndication, retargeting), ensuring tactical spend aligns with the overarching strategy.
Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and performance benchmarks to ensure efficient spend and measurable ROI.
Align ABM and paid initiatives to broader campaign strategy to drive cohesive, multi-channel engagement.
Continuously analyze engagement, pipeline generation and conversion metrics to improve targeting and performance.
Improve campaign intake, prioritization, and workflow processes for scale and clarity.
Implement standardized frameworks including RACI models, milestone mapping, and reporting cadences.
Leverage automation, AI, and modern marketing tools to increase efficiency and speed to market.
Elevate documentation and best practices to strengthen repeatability and execution rigor.
Establish structured reporting to track campaign health, KPIs, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
Partner with analytics and marketing operations to embed data into planning and decision-making.
Lead retrospectives to capture learnings and operationalize improvements.
Focus teams on measurable impact and continuous performance optimization.
5–8+ years of experience in integrated campaign management, ABM, performance marketing, or related roles in B2B or high-growth environments.
Demonstrated success driving measurable pipeline impact through multi-channel marketing programs.
Hands-on experience developing and executing ABM strategies in partnership with Sales.
Experience managing paid media programs with clear accountability for performance outcomes.
Strong understanding of segmentation, targeting, attribution, and funnel performance.
Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with clarity and accountability.
Deep organizational discipline and strong executive-level communication skills.
Fluency with marketing automation, campaign analytics, and AI-driven tools that enhance speed and precision.
