Work as a capital markets business analyst to manage data conversion, reconciliation, and testing across core systems. Provide domain expertise in asset classes, fund accounting, market reference data and corporate actions. Lead a team, define data mapping, perform data cleaning and testing, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones using advanced Excel and ETL knowledge.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of asset classes such as Equity, Fixed Income, Futures & Options, ABS, and MBS. • Possess conceptual knowledge of fund accounting and portfolio valuation. • Familiarity with market reference data and corporate actions. • Perform data reconciliation and analyze reconciliation breaks in detail. • Conduct source system data analysis to manage source-to-target data mapping for large datasets. • Data Conversion & Testing: • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to define and document data conversion requirements. • Execute conversion and testing of static and transactional data between core systems. • Perform data cleaning, scrubbing, and consistency checks (pre-checks). • Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools is preferred but not mandatory. • Understand and manage the Conversion Run Book and task assignments. • Lead and manage a team to ensure successful execution of project goals • Monitor progress, provide guidance, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. • Advanced Excel Skills
