Job Description

The Senior Catalog Specialist is responsible for adapting to new tools and technologies, ensuring continuous learning to improve efficiency in product configuration management, working under general supervision. The role assesses product specifications in detail to translate them into system-level data inputs for product catalogs and BOMs, builds detailed action plans for implementing product changes, documents all configuration activities meticulously, and familiarizes oneself with SAP ERP, PDM systems like eMatrix and Windchill, and MRP fundamentals.

The role implements engineering changes, interacts with cross-functional teams to support, and understand configuration management processes, monitors compliance with change and quality management processes, and supports senior team members by providing accurate data input and maintaining product information consistency.
 

Your role:

  • Translate product specifications into accurate catalog and BOM data; manage SAP MM Material Master
  • Own product data enrichment in Conga (CPQ) and ensure consistency across SAP, PDM, and CPQ systems
  • Execute Engineering Change Management (ECM) updates with quality, timeliness, and compliance
  • Plan and deliver configuration changes, proactively managing risks and deviations
  • Operate across SAP, Conga, Windchill, and ERP systems; handle RITM requests and catalog onboarding
  • Leverage Power BI/automation to improve reporting, efficiency, and data quality
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation with full traceability and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with upstream teams (R&D, Product Engineering, Design) to enable accurate finished product configuration
  • Manage vendor/contingent resources, ensuring SLA adherence, quality delivery, and productivity
  • Drive continuous improvement through TAT reduction, automation, and process simplification

You're the right fit if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in CPQ (Conga preferred), Catalog/Product Data Management, or Configuration Management roles
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM (Material Master), BOM, and product catalog data management
  • Working knowledge of RITM/service request handling within SAP/ITSM workflows
  • Experience with multiple CPQ tools and catalog onboarding/migration (preferably into Conga)
  • Familiarity with ERP, PDM (Windchill), and MRP fundamentals

Key Capabilities

  • Ensure high accuracy in catalog, BOM, and CPQ configuration data with minimal rework
  • Manage end-to-end product data enrichment in CPQ (Conga) including onboarding and maintenance
  • Handle RITM requests and fragmented product data inputs, ensuring prioritisation and SLA adherence
  • Demonstrate strong learning agility across SAP, CPQ, and PDM systems
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation with strict adherence to ECM, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Manage and lead 5–6 vendor/contingent resources, ensuring quality output and process compliance
  • Leverage Power BI / automation to improve catalog accuracy, reporting, and turnaround time
  • Exhibit strong stakeholder communication across upstream (R&D/Product Engineering) and downstream functions
  • Drive continuous improvement in catalog quality, CPQ efficiency, and process simplification

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an onsite role.
