As a Cloud Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the operational excellence, reliability, and performance of our cloud platforms, ensuring seamless delivery of network functions and services within a demanding telecom environment.Also will work on OpenStack, OpenShift, Ericsson CEE, Advanced Shell Scripting, Python, Ansible, Telecom NFVi.
- Must have proven experience in deployment, Support, Upgrade and maintenance of RH OpenStack, OpenShift for large Telecom organizations.
- Must be well versed in NFVi deployments.
- Must have worked as lead on Redhat environment design and deployment, Platform HLD, LLD designs, Policy localization, develop and maintain, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) policy code base in support of core network platform automation (Advance Cluster Manager, Advance Cluster Security)
- Must have work experience in Environment Life-cycling, including platform minor and major release upgrades.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for level 3 technical support. Participate in level 3 support for OCP across core network and IT app clusters.
- Must have experience as team lead for at least 4 years.
- Prior Experience with Nokia CBIS and CBAM will be desirable.
- Prior experience with Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP) is desirable.
- Willing to work on multiple time zones as per business need.
- Experience with OpenVMS will be added advantage.
- Must have working experience Advanced shell Scripting, Python and Ansible.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree with 11+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in OpenStack, OpenShift, and Ericsson CEE.
- Strong skills in Advanced Shell Scripting, Python, and Ansible.
- Expertise in Telecom NFVi and the ability to support network requirements.
- Must be ready to work in Oceania Time Zone and other time zones if required based on Project need.
Nice-To-Have:
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate daily activities, perform root cause analysis for complex issues, and develop/implement effective solutions.
- Team lead capacity, including managing complex activities and making decisions based on established solutions.
