In this role, you’re expected to:

• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code.

• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 4-10 relevant and strong experience in Cognos
• Strong skills and experience in IBM Cognos software to build reports, dashboards, and scorecards to present data in a clear, visual, and actionable format. 
• Very Strong & Experience of SQL skills are essential for data extraction and manipulation from databases. 
• Very strong Knowledge and Experience of data warehousing principles, table structures, database keys, and efficient data joining techniques and strong performance tuning capabilities. 
• Performance Tuning Optimizing reports and data models for efficient performance and reliability. 
• Familiarity with big data platforms is a plus. 
• Experience with Jira, Light speed /Jenkins/RLM, GitHub
