Commercial Partnerships Director will lead the identification, design, structuring, and management of strategic commercial partnerships. This role focuses on enhancing our organization's commercial capabilities and competitive positioning through impactful collaborations with organizations in adjacent senior-focused markets that can generate incremental demand for HealthPlanOne’s consumer services and expand the supply of services offered to consumers.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, partner needs, and emerging opportunities to inform partnership strategy and commercial solution development.
  • Design, structure, and negotiate commercial partnerships that address both supply and demand opportunities in the senior market, maximizing value and alignment with company objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of partnership materials, including pitch decks, proposals, term sheets, and contracts, in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Capture and communicate insights from partner interactions, market analyses, industry trends, and regular meetings to inform internal partnership priorities.
  • Create and maintain internal performance scorecards and operational benchmarks to align teams with key partnership priorities and commercial goals.
  • Develop and distribute external scorecards benchmarking partner performance against key dimensions, driving transparency and enhancing partnership effectiveness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 7 – 10 years’ experience initiating and managing large commercial partnerships
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in applicable software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and analytics tools to produce partnership materials and performance scorecards. (Excel, SQL, Tableau or Power BI)
  • Demonstrated success in creatively structuring commercial agreements, managing deal-related documentation (pitch decks, term sheets, contracts), and executing negotiations effectively.
  • Familiarity with developing and managing partner performance metrics and scorecards.
  • Highly collaborative and capable of building consensus across internal functional teams (Product, Marketing, Operations, Technology) and external stakeholders.
  • Process-oriented mindset with proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel up 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Prior experience in healthcare solution design, consulting, or strategic partnerships development.
  • Domo experience
  • Ability to independently manage complex partnership discussions and escalate effectively when necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
