About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Underwriting Associate.
In this role, you will:
  • Participate in credit research and investigation of existing and prospective clients and counterparties under the direction of more experienced individuals within Commercial Real Estate Underwriting functional area
  • Review basic issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, and are related to low to medium risk tasks and deliverables
  • Receive direction from supervisor and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with Commercial Real Estate Underwriting managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders, including internal as well as external customers
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of Commercial Real Estate Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in Commercial Real Estate Underwriting, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • Graduation, MBA Finance would be a plus.
  • Any previous experience supporting US CRE market would be a plus.
  • 6+ months of Underwriting experience in one or a combination of the following:
  • Experience in supporting Commercial real estate investment management or commercial real estate balance sheet lending business.
  • Ability to read and understand basic commercial real estate loan documentation, securitization documents, including pooling and servicing agreements and related documentation.
