Duties: Responsible for corporate communications for corporate centers, technology centers and U.S. markets. Develop and execute communications and engagement plans to drive employee engagement and awareness of corporate and location specific initiatives. Responsible for program development and communications strategy by identifying communications needs, capabilities and channels. Recommend communication solutions that support service, operational and cultural objectives. Assist in shaping and driving cross-location and cross-line of business communication programs. Measure the effectiveness of communications messages, channels, and programs, as well as its overall effect on campus. Write a variety of communications, including executive messages and presentations, location-marketing materials, building announcements, event invitations, communications plans, intranet articles and LinkedIn posts. Manage location-specific communication channels, including intranet pages, sites, broadcast email, internal communications, collaboration platforms and digital signage, and contribute content to other firm wide channels.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Communications Manager, Communications/Engagement Associate, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Communications Manager, Communications/Engagement Associate, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: managing multiple communications campaigns with employee-focused calls to action, change management, crisis response, and local and firmwide priorities; planning and executing employee events and client and community facing events; managing editorial calendars for several communications channels to meet stakeholder and firmwide priorities; collaborating with all levels of employees across a company and working directly with senior leadership; managing indirect reports; developing and executing strategic communication plans; following Associated Press Stylebook writing guidelines; creating and managing intranet content, calendars and microsites with employee resources; using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel to create decks for employee town halls and senior leader presentations; Adobe Analytics to track and interpret readership metrics and then implement findings into communications strategies; Adobe Creative to create graphics for content and edit video; using Sharepoint and building and managing intranet pages; Targeted Email or other email broadcasting tools to deliver emails to employee populations; collaboration tools, including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to facilitate content review, plan and manage campaign timing and editorial content, and share time-sensitive updates between direct team and broader stakeholder group; video production, including storyboarding and script writing, coaching executives, basic filming, and creating promotion plans for end video.
Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel to other JPMorgan Chase & Co. sites.
