What you will do:
Fulfills the role of Complex Solutions Quotation Manager and works in a European, multicultural, and dynamic business environment to assist all clients. Must be the point of contact for all requests in the region they serve and must be able to provide advice on the most suitable processes, in line with their advanced knowledge of all configuration and quotation processes.
Quotation Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for all quotation requests and related inquiries.
- Act as the main point of contact for the quotes and configurations managed, liaising with clients, the sales department, and internal departments.
- Identify special requests and engage the appropriate teams (sales, presales, pricing, engineering, Supply Chain, Order Management) to resolve them.
- Ensure proper handover to other teams and translate complex requirements into clear tasks.
- Take responsibility for and proactively follow up on requests until resolution across all involved departments.
- Ensure that only approved prices are presented on the official quote sent to the client.
- Manage the "Commit Date" metric and provide visibility/transparency on the request's progress through proactive communication.
- Prioritize requests based on importance, business impact, and customer satisfaction.
Technical Expertise:
- Continuously update knowledge on processes, applications, products, and integration possibilities (including new products).
- Have a deep understanding of the solution offered, including the client's products, needs, and the Supply Chain department's capabilities.
- Ensure that the solutions offered meet the client's requirements, providing alternative solutions if there are stock issues.
- Offer proactive advice on product offerings, catalog organization, and maintenance.
- Be available to participate in client meetings for technical consultations, both virtually and in person in special situations.
- Engage presales when necessary and resolve technical issues outside the presales scope.
Customer Care and Sales Relationship:
- Manage requests for both direct sales and partner clients.
- Establish and maintain close relationships with both internal and external clients.
- Support sales department training by measuring the quality of requests received and involving subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed.
- Guide the sales department on processes and programs to use when they need direction, balancing turnaround time (TAT), costs, and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the sales department and/or client to ensure a common understanding of the desired configuration.
- Act as the single point of contact for the sales department when they have questions, providing accurate timelines and regular updates on request progress until resolution.

Acts as the single point of contact for the sales department if they have questions (this may involve directing them to another specialist), provides an accurate timeframe for when the request will be resolved, and offers correct updates/intermediate information on the progress of the request until its resolution.
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in all necessary training sessions and provide feedback, information, and recommendations to help improve them.
- Assist new employees with completing mandatory training/tasks in the New Employee Orientation Program.
- Conduct or assist with training sessions and/or presentations on departmental processes or general administrative issues.
- Act as a mentor, providing information, analyses, and recommendations to support team efforts.
- Ensure transparency of information by adequately documenting and storing publicly relevant information on the department's intranet page.
- Maintain an appropriate level of communication with internal and external clients to ensure total customer satisfaction (TCE).
- Ensure proper collaboration between involved teams and departments.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:
- Understand and comply with occupational health and safety legislation and measures.
- Perform activities in accordance with training and instructions to prevent accidents or occupational illnesses.
- Participate in risk assessments and identification of environmental aspects.
- Do not arbitrarily disable, modify, or remove safety devices, especially on machines, equipment, tools, technical installations, and buildings, and use these devices correctly.
- Immediately report any work situation considered a danger to the safety and health of workers and any deficiencies in fire prevention and extinguishing systems to the workplace manager.
- Report any personal accidents to the workplace manager and/or employer.
- Participate in health and safety training (upon hiring, at the workplace, periodically, when changing the workplace or transferring, introducing new equipment, or modifying existing equipment) and undergo occupational medical examinations upon hiring and periodically.
- Cooperate with the employer and/or health and safety specialist as necessary to implement measures or requirements set by labor and health inspectors for worker protection.
- Ensure that the work environment and conditions are safe and risk-free in their area of activity.
- Comply with health and safety legislation and Hewlett Packard Enterprise standards.
- Provide information requested by labor and health inspectors.
- Adhere to fire safety provisions issued by company management.
What you need to bring:
- Technical experience, at least 2 years of experience with software applications and hardware products, network solutions, or infrastructure.
- University degree (preferably in Computer Science).
- Fluent in English; an additional European language is a plus.
- Advanced communication skills (good inquiry and listening skills).
- Advanced technical knowledge and understanding of HPE's portfolio.
Experience in building and implementing policies, processes, and applications to support sales operations.
