As a Data Analyst, you will bridge business needs with technical solutions, analyzing data and transforming logic to support decision-making.
As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze data sources, and define transformation logic that supports strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with projects related to the implementation of data platforms and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and actionable work items.
- Analyze source systems to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and integrity.
- Define and document transformation logic, data mappings, and business rules.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data flows, processes, and specifications.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support data quality initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 7 years of experience working in a similar role with data engineering projects
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and understand customer needs deeply.
- Proven experience translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Solid understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Experience analyzing source systems and ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to define transformation logic and create detailed data mappings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in large data platforms, such as Databricks
- Understanding the implementation of master data management solutions
- Consulting experience or exposure to client-facing roles
- Knowledge of JDE or experience with other large ERP systems
