About the role:

As a writer, you will join the team to create high-quality documentation, including how-to guides, videos, and other content that helps users get the most out of the company's software solutions. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure that documentation is accurate, clear, and easy to understand.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including how-to guides, user manuals, and other content that helps internal and external user understand and use the company's software solutions.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure that documentation is accurate, clear, and easy to understand.
  • Create videos and other multimedia content to help users understand how to use the company's software solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest features and functionality of the company's software solutions to ensure that documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure that documentation meets the needs of users and supports the company's product strategy.
  • Create and maintain a style guide for documentation to ensure consistency across all documentation.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the documentation process to ensure that documentation is delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing.
  • Organize and maintain document repositories and version control systems.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in writing, with a focus on software solutions in a SaaS environment
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and agile practices
  • Experience writing for a global audience with the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience creating videos and other multimedia content to support documentation efforts.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
