Role Overview:We are seeking a Contract Specialist to join our Technology Finance organization. This role involves managing the entire contract lifecycle (CLM), vendor management, and procurement process, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, SOWs, and amendments.
- Participate in vendor sourcing (RFx), supplier recommendations, and contract negotiations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for business partners on contracting matters.
- Analyze company spend to identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with Legal, Corporate Accounting, Risk, and Compliance teams on contract reviews and regulatory matters.
- Monitor and report contract status, vendor spend, and cost savings metrics.
- Develop and implement best practices for contracting and vendor management processes.
- Educate and train business partners on Vendor Management Office (VMO) processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management, and vendor relationship management (preferably within a technology organization).
- Strong knowledge of contracting principles and vendor management best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with e-signature tools (Adobe Sign, DocuSign) and spend management tools (SAP, Coupa, Raindrop, etc.).
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze spend data.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Ability to work onsite full-time as per company return-to-work policies.
