Job Description

Overview of the position:

Scaled Agile, Inc. is seeking a passionate and experienced Country Manager to lead our renowned thought leadership organization in the India/ASEAN markets. Based in India, you will drive transformative change in local enterprises, government accounts, and Global 2000 companies through our network of trainers and consultants, as well as our cutting-edge AI-native services.

We have achieved steady growth in the India/ASEAN region and have established key accounts. Our goal is to significantly expand our market presence, leveraging our strong partnerships in each country. These partners are crucial in helping us transform customers in the region and in supporting global consulting firms and system integrators as we deepen our engagement across these markets.

In this role, you will collaborate with our U.S. Marketing teams and local resources to develop and implement demand-generation strategies for the SAFe Enterprise Subscription, classes, courseware, and our AI Native offerings. You will identify and onboard new partners, cultivate relationships with enterprises seeking transformation, and provide ongoing support to both partners and enterprises. Additionally, you will help build a vibrant community of SAFe trainers and practitioners through community engagement events.

You will be responsible for the full sales lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to closing deals, and ensuring ongoing support and customer retention. Your role will involve building meaningful and lasting relationships with stakeholders ranging from engineers to C-level executives.

What you’ll be doing:

Own Market Growth in India

  • Drive revenue growth in India by building and executing a partner-led go-to-market strategy. Develop pipeline through partners, co-sell strategic opportunities, and close subscription business that expands adoption of SAFe and our AI Native offerings.

Build and Orchestrate the Partner Ecosystem

  • Establish and grow a high-performing partner ecosystem by identifying, recruiting, and developing partners who can effectively sell and deliver SAFe. Connect enterprises with the right partners to accelerate successful transformations.

Drive Partner Performance and Accountability

  • Lead structured partner performance management through clear expectations, joint business planning, and regular business reviews. Ensure partners are meeting targets for pipeline generation, sales execution, certification, and delivery quality.

Enable Partner Capability at Scale

  • Identify capability gaps in the market and work to close them by enabling partners to improve their business development, sales effectiveness, and delivery excellence—particularly in the context of AI Native offerings.

Expand Enterprise Relationships

  • Build and deepen relationships with senior executives and decision-makers within target organizations. Position SAFe as a strategic enabler of business transformation and AI-driven innovation.

Accelerate Market Awareness and Demand

  • Represent Scaled Agile in the India market through industry events, speaking engagements, and executive networking to build brand presence and generate demand.

Ensure Ecosystem Quality and Customer Success

  • Maintain the integrity and quality of the partner ecosystem by ensuring consistent delivery standards, strong customer outcomes, and alignment with Scaled Agile’s business practices.

Operate as a Market Leader

  • Act as the primary representative of Scaled Agile in India—navigating a complex, partner-driven environment with limited local infrastructure. Proactively identify market opportunities, remove barriers to growth, and bring back insights to inform global strategy.
