The opportunity:
The CPQ Testing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development and business teams to deliver robust and reliable CPQ systems.
How you’ll make an impact:

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for CPQ implementations and enhancements, covering functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

• Execute manual and automated test cases to validate CPQ configurations, pricing rules, quoting processes, product catalogs, and integration points with other systems (e.g., CRM, ERP).

• Identify, document, track, and prioritize defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and retesting.

• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and end-users to understand CPQ requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), providing valuable input from a quality assurance perspective.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.

• Perform root cause analysis for identified issues and provide recommendations for preventative measures.

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test reports and defect logs.

• Stay current with CPQ technologies, industry best practices, and testing tools.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Should have 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, with at least 1-2 years specifically focused on CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, SAP CPQ, Apttus, Conga).

• Strong understanding of CPQ concepts, including product configuration, pricing rules, discounting, quoting, and proposal generation.

• Proficiency in designing, developing, and executing test cases.

• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM).

• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Workato).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• CPQ vendor certification (e.g., Salesforce CPQ Specialist) is highly desirable.
