About the role
The Credit & Affordability team are seeking a Credit Functional Analyst to join the team for a 12-month secondment. Within this team is the Affordability team who are responsible for the sensitive customer base including customers on the Hardship Program Staying Connected, Life Support and Family & Domestic Violence. In this role, you will support the delivery of positive debt performance in Credit Operations and drives initiatives to positively impact the debt book
What you’ll be doing:
Root cause analysis and resolution of operational issues, incidents and trends, and identification and delivery of improvement opportunities.
Proactive monitoring, investigation and analysis of debt performance reports, metrics, forecasts and trends, on a daily and weekly basis.
Proactively supporting positive debt performance outcomes for the consumer debt book.
Implementation of debt performance initiatives (based on analytical insights) that impact positively on debt book and customer experience. Recommend and drive campaign strategies to completion, ensuring outcomes are measured and findings presented.
Monitoring ‘end to end’ collections framework to ensure process integrity, working with key internal and external stakeholders for issue resolution.
What you’ll bring:
Process knowledge in credit management and collections, particularly within energy industry.
Able to analyse processes, identify root cause, recommend a solution & drive the solution to completion.
Good understanding of regulatory guidelines and Energy industry
Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
High quality written and verbal communication.
