Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with modern development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous refinement of software elements to enhance performance and functionality are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Define and implement DoD scorecard gates — schema compatibility, test coverage, integration tests
- Build automated test execution into CI/CD pipeline — unit, integration, load tests
- Own test data strategy — provision sufficient test data across staging and preprod environments
- Define Definition of Done standard in alignment with delivery teams

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, Automated Test Execution, DevOps maturity
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools to design and execute automated test scripts.
- Ability to analyze software requirements and develop comprehensive test plans to ensure product quality.
- Experience in integrating automated testing within continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve software defects efficiently.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
