As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The engineer applies modern development frameworks and agile methodologies to meet evolving business requirements, continuously improving and refining software to support organizational goals. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices to improve software development processes and team productivity.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software solutions with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting, SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries, SAP MM Materials Management.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in customizing and enhancing enterprise resource planning systems.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect various SAP modules and external systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
