Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with modern development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with different teams and continuous refinement of software elements are integral parts of the daily workflow, contributing to the overall success of projects and organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in React.js.
- Strong knowledge of component-based architecture and state management in modern web applications.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming to integrate front-end components with backend services.
- Understanding of version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues in a production environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with modern front-end development, primarily React (hooks, state management, component design)
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript TypeScript and responsive UI design
- Experience building enterprise-scale, cloud-native applications in a microservices architecture
- Familiarity with AKS Kubernetes-hosted applications and integrating front ends with REST GraphQL APIs
- Good understanding of UX and usability principles, especially for high volume internal user applications.
- Focus on performance, accessibility, maintainability, and testability (e.g., unit/component testing)
- Comfortable working in Agile DevOps teams, collaborating closely with backend, UX, and platform engineers
- Proactive, can-do mindset, strong team player, takes ownership and drives improvements
- Nice to have interest or practical exposure to AI-enabled UI patterns (eg, copilots, intelligent search, recommendations)

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in React.js.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
