As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with modern development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with different teams and continuous refinement of software components are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering innovation and responsiveness to evolving project needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices and continuous learning within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Defense.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to design and optimize custom code for performance and scalability in SAP environments.
- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex software issues.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect SAP systems with other enterprise applications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our CDC2A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
