Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your day typically involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. You will engage in understanding the requirements, translating them into functional software solutions, and ensuring that the applications align with organizational goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to refine application features and continuous improvement of software components are integral parts of your daily activities. Your role is pivotal in delivering customized software that supports and enhances business operations effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday US Absence Management.
- Strong knowledge of application design and configuration principles.
- Experience in customizing software solutions to meet complex business processes.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot application issues effectively.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data flow between systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable and maintainable solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Workday US Absence Management.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
