Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality, while continuously overseeing the progress and quality of the software solutions being developed. The engineer plays a pivotal role in driving the project forward by managing priorities and addressing challenges that arise during the software development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project goals and deliverables with organizational objectives.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards throughout the software development process.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with application servers and middleware technologies.
- Familiarity with database management and integration techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
- Skilled in developing scalable and maintainable enterprise-level applications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
