Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. The workday is often spent collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless functionality. Continuous refinement and adjustment of applications to optimize performance and user experience are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering innovation and efficiency within the business environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Ensure the applications developed are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their professional growth.
- Continuously monitor and improve existing applications to enhance performance and user satisfaction.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Experience in configuring and customizing enterprise applications to meet business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the application environment.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data migration processes related to Workday Core HCM.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and efficient solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 year full time education is required and Mandatory experience in the primary skill is required. Certification in primary skill is mandatory.
