Summary: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI). As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that the applications meet the needs of stakeholders. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing guidance and support to your team members while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results. Your role will require effective communication and collaboration to ensure that projects are completed on time and to specification, fostering a productive and inclusive work environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and trends - Create and maintain data models using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications - Connect and integrate data from various sources (AWS Athena, AWS RDS, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Oracle) - Transform and clean data to ensure accuracy and consistency - Develop and optimize DAX calculations and measures - Implement row-level security and data governance practices - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data connectivity, performance, and visualization - Regularly update and optimize dashboards to ensure performance and relevance to business goals - Stay current with the latest Power BI features and best practices - Required Skills & Qualifications - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service - Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and database design principles - Solid understanding of cloud services, preferably AWS - Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query - Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation - Knowledge of data visualization best practices - Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI). - Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights. - Experience with data modeling and report creation in Microsoft Power BI. - Ability to integrate data from various sources into Power BI dashboards. - Familiarity with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for advanced calculations. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI). - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
