Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Applications DBA to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle database administration, application patching, cloning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across production and non-production environments. This role demands strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities: Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) environments including installation, configuration, patching, cloning, and upgrades. Perform database tuning, application tuning, and proactive monitoring of Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c). Manage concurrent managers, workflow services, and application tier components. Implement and maintain backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard. Ensure database security, compliance, and audit readiness. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support deployments, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. Automate routine DBA tasks using shell scripting or other tools. Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution. Provide on-call support and handle critical incidents with minimal downtime. Document procedures, configurations, and best practices. Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 8+ years of experience as an Oracle Applications DBA. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 (including AD utilities, patching, cloning). Proficiency in Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c administration. Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard. Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and lead initiatives. Preferred Skills: Exposure to Oracle WebLogic, SOA Suite, and APEX. Experience with performance monitoring tools like OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager). Understanding of ITIL processes and change management. Experience in managing large-scale production environments.
