Summary
You will design, configure, and enhance SAP FSCM Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) solutions while using AI assisted development tools and copilots to accelerate financial analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting. The role focuses on improving treasury operations, financial risk visibility, and integration efficiency through AI enabled productivity—not on building custom LLMs, RAG pipelines, or agentic AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
Functional & Technical Delivery
Configure and optimize TRM components including:
o Cash & Liquidity Management
o Transaction Manager (Money Market, FX, Derivatives, Securities)
o Credit Risk, Market Risk, Hedge Management
o Exposure & Position Management
Use AI copilots to prepare functional documents, validate configuration logic, generate test cases, and automate repetitive documentation.
Support end to end delivery: requirements gathering, process mapping, configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and hypercare.
Integrate TRM with FI, CO, In House Cash, Bank Communication Management, Market Data providers, and external financial platforms.
AI Assisted Productivity
Apply AI copilots for:
o Treasury process analysis
o Exposure/position interpretation
o Testing acceleration
o Documentation generation
o Workflow optimization
Use pre built AI services to support tasks such as anomaly detection, forecasting (e.g., cash positions), and transaction classification.
Use LLM assisted troubleshooting tools to accelerate root cause analysis and data verification.
Governance, Risk & Collaboration
Ensure all solutions meet financial controls, audit requirements, compliance policies, and treasury governance rules.
Partner with treasury, finance, controllers, auditors, and integration teams to ensure aligned and compliant solution delivery.
Conduct workshops, walkthroughs, and risk impact analyses using AI augmented insights.
Contribute to reusable templates, decision trees, configuration patterns, and AI enhanced best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
SAP Treasury Expertise
Strong functional knowledge of TRM areas such as:
o Financial instruments lifecycle
o Valuations, accruals, postings
o Market data handling
o Credit & market risk
o Hedge accounting
Experience integrating TRM with FI, CO, BCM, IHC, and external banking/market data systems.
AI Ready Skills
Hands on use of AI copilots, LLM based documentation tools, and AI supported test automation.
Ability to integrate pre built AI features (not advanced AI model development) into treasury workflows.
Awareness of AI tool limitations and responsible AI usage in finance and risk domains.
General Skills
Strong analytical skills around treasury processes, financial instruments, and risk scenarios.
Ability to convert business requirements into scalable SAP TRM configurations.
Effective communication with treasury and finance stakeholders.
Continuous learning mindset with comfort adopting AI assisted tools.
Good to Have
SAP Certification in Treasury and Risk Management.
Exposure to market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv) or integration middleware (CPI / SWIFT).
Experience with automation of valuations, reconciliations, and treasury reporting.
Familiarity with cloud based cash forecasting or analytics tools.
Outcome Expectations
Deliver faster, more accurate TRM solutions using AI assisted productivity accelerators.
Enhance transparency, compliance, and efficiency in treasury operations.
Support finance transformation by bridging business teams, SAP engineering teams, and AI native teams where needed.
