Summary:
As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve assisting in the design of software configuration and customization to align with business process design and application requirements, ensuring that all configurations meet the specified standards and contribute to the overall project goals. You will engage with various teams to facilitate smooth integration and functionality of the software solutions being developed, while also addressing any challenges that may arise during the configuration process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate training sessions for team members to enhance their understanding of configuration management.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of configuration processes and suggest improvements.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP CO Management Accounting.
- Strong analytical skills to assess business requirements and translate them into configuration specifications.
- Experience with software development life cycle methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP CO Management Accounting.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
