As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The engineer applies modern development frameworks and agile methodologies to meet evolving business requirements, continuously improving and refining software to support organizational goals. Collaboration and innovation are key aspects of the daily workflow, ensuring that solutions are both high-performing and aligned with user needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices to improve software quality and delivery timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software development with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- Strong experience in designing and developing custom software solutions within enterprise resource planning environments.
- In-depth understanding of financial processes and accounting principles as they relate to SAP systems.
- Ability to work with modern development frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver robust software.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
