As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that integrate seamlessly across various systems and applications. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- DB2 LUW DBA (depth knowledge on DB2 LUW database administration) this is mandatory skill
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and backup and recovery techniques.
- Experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with database security principles and implementation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
- Understanding of integration between IBM DB2 and various application platforms.
- DB2 LUW DBA (depth knowledge on DB2 LUW database administration) this is mandatory skill

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
