Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific requirements within the product lifecycle. This role requires engaging with various stages of software development, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. The position demands continuous collaboration with stakeholders to support projects effectively, applying a comprehensive understanding of methodologies, tools, and processes to deliver high-quality solutions that align with client needs and organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Windchill.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and configuration management.
- Experience with system integration and customization within product lifecycle management environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues effectively.
- Familiarity with collaborative development tools and version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
