Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, and maintaining existing client relationships. They analyze market trends, evaluate potential areas for growth, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management. The Specialist also conducts product demonstrations, prepares sales forecasts, and provides technical support to clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of sales processes and the industry.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Identify and understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Conduct sales calls and meetings to present products and services
• Negotiate and close sales deals
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
• Research and identify potential clients and leads
• Cold call and email prospective customers
• Qualify leads and schedule meetings for sales team
• Utilize CRM system to track and manage leads
• Continuously seek new opportunities for business growth
Product and Industry Knowledge:
• Develop a deep understanding of company products and services
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitors
• Educate customers on product features and benefits
• Provide recommendations and solutions based on customer needs
• Attend training and workshops to enhance product knowledge
Order Processing and Management:
• Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders
• Maintain accurate records of sales and orders
• Monitor and track order status to provide updates to customers
Sales Support and Administration:
• Assist sales team with administrative tasks and duties
• Prepare and send sales quotes and proposals
• Create and maintain sales reports and metrics
• Manage and update customer database
• Coordinate with marketing team for promotional materials and campaigns

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, or related field with at least 5 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., SalesForce, CRM systems).
• Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and plans.
• Knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis techniques.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
