Key Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve the embedded BI engine (Panintelligence) integrated into our SaaS platform.

  • Design and develop scalable data models and semantic layers within the BI tool to represent key business processes.

  • Develop and maintain standard and configurable dashboards and reports for both internal and external use.

  • Ensure effective delivery of analytics by training and enabling internal users (e.g. developers, implementation managers) to work with and customise BI views.

  • Collaborate with data engineers to align ETL pipelines and warehouse models with BI needs.

  • Continuously improve the BI architecture, tooling, and development workflows to support scalable delivery.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Must have:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a BI Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role, preferably in a growth-stage SaaS or scale-up environment.

  • Proven experience with BI tool development (e.g. Panintelligence, or tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik), preferably also embedded.

  • Strong skills in SQL and data modelling for analytics use cases.

  • Ability to design and deliver reusable dashboards and reports, balancing standardisation and flexibility.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train internal stakeholders on use and extension of BI assets.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and implementation teams.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics and multi-tenant data models.

  • Experience working with semantic layer tools or modelling frameworks (e.g., dbt).

  • Some experience working with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and/or database development.

  • Familiarity with ETL pipelines, orchestration tools, and collaboration with data engineering teams.

Benefits
  • A fair share of Aibidia's success, benefiting from a competitive compensation and incentive package.

  • Flexible working hours with a hybrid working policy.

  • Comprehensive healthcare package.

  • Genuine drive towards physical and mental wellbeing, with initiatives by an internal organisational health and wellbeing committee.

  • Regular team social events including Aibidia's summer and winter parties.

  • The latest technology to ensure you can do your best work with the best tools.

  • A boost for your professional development - performance-based growth is part of the company culture and there is a designated learning budget for every employee.

  • An opportunity to be part of a global, fast-growing SaaS company revolutionising a traditional industry.

  • A non-hierarchical atmosphere and stellar culture at the office.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity, we want you to bring you, no matter your background, gender, race or sexual orientation!

Please note, we’re unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. To be considered, you’ll need to show proof of your eligibility to work in the country.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
