The Team: The Transactions team’s mission is to produce the most actionable, transparent, trusted, and comprehensive data & insights in the marketplace for M&A, Public Offerings, Equity Buybacks, and Bankruptcy. We are currently looking for a highly skilled data researcher with exceptional detail orientation and analytical skills to join us in our mission. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Research, collect and rationalize Transactions related datapoints from company filings, regulatory docs, press announcements, and other sources. 

  • Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with the highest level of quality and excellence 

  • Contribute to SME building initiatives to improve individual and team quality 

  • Proactively identify process/procedure/data gaps and work with relevant teams to fix them 

  • Identify and suggest necessary checks and balances in the system to proactively mitigate errors in the system 

  • Act as a mentor/peer guide to new hires and assist them in developing required skills to progress on their career path  

  • Conduct root-cause analysis on team's accuracy & timeliness and suggest ways to improve them. 

  • Own, execute and deliver high-quality results on the assigned projects and tasks within the stipulated time frame  

  • Participate in and drive employee engagement initiatives in the team 

  • Act as a custodian of the internal training programs and refine them as and when needed to meet the desired objectives. 

  • Identify and execute on Lean and Automation opportunities. 

What We’re Looking For:  

Basic Qualifications: 

  • BBA Finance, MBA Finance, MCOM or any other related field

  • Fresh or upto 6 months of experience.

  • Excellent comprehension ability 

  • Good secondary research skills 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills 

  • Detail-oriented 

  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts as per business need 

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Certification  

  • Strong accounting and financial markets knowledge  

  • Intermediate SQL Certification preferred  

  • Experience in mentoring and coaching new hires 

  • Experience in leading and executing projects  

  • Proficiency in Data/Trend analysis
