Job DescriptionJoin us on an exciting journey to transform data and analytics at Oetiker using cloud technologies like Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. As a key member of our small international analytics team, you’ll help implement enterprise planning in Power BI and contribute to core data engineering and analytics tasks such as data extraction, transformation, and report development.

What you will do:
- Be the person who is technically managing our planning solution.
- Design, maintain and optimize data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and dbt.
- Build and enhance planning/reporting models and reports in Power BI.
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine data requirements.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across planning and analytics solutions.
- Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Required skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse or similar cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong SQL and data transformation skills. Experience in dbt is preferred.
- Dimensional modelling and data architectures.
- Interest in and strong understanding of statistics, data analysis, ETL processes, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Structured way of working and documentation of work
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles
Preferred skills:
- Experience with BI report development, ideally using Power BI.
- Enterprise Planning solutions.
- Financial planning and reporting.
- SAP S/4HANA data landscape.
- Web service integrations using REST API’s.
