Design, build and maintain ETL mappings and data models; write SQL and Snowflake queries; manage ETL/infrastructure on AWS (EC2); use Informatica, Control-M and ServiceNow; script in Python/Shell/PowerShell; collaborate with onshore/offshore teams and define BI delivery strategy.
The Skills that will make you successful in this role
- Understand requirement, source to target mapping and Data model and create mappings.
- Ensuring associated applications adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security guidelines and data management policies
- Strong working knowledge in ETL – Informatica.
- Good exposure to writing SQL, Snowflake queries
- Working knowledge in Unix
- Good Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, Dimension modelling.
- Good knowledge in agile methodologies.
- Good knowledge of Scripting (Python scripting, Shell or PowerShell)
- AWS Cloud knowledge and infrastructure management (EC2)
- Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M.
- Experience in working with ServiceNow and ability to manage changes and its processes.
- Coordination with onshore & offshore application teams, Operations and business teams.
- Work with onsite teams to acquire a solid understanding of core deliverables, current state of technology and the strategic direction guiding future effort.
- Participate in the definition of both functional and non-functional requirements of a system and define the BI delivery strategy.
The Skills that are good to have for this role
- UI Engineering with Angular Technology exposure is a plus
- Exposure to Power BI and Tableau is an added advantage
- Experience in using Jenkins / Stash
- Deployment using Udeploy / Datical
- Effective communication and excellent “story-telling from data” abilities
- Have the ability to discover new opportunities where analytical techniques can be leveraged for solving business problems.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Bachelors in Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Relevant experience of 4-6 years
