Data Engineer II

As a BI Data engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining reporting solutions. You  will have a thorough understanding of SAP Business Intelligence, Crystal Reports and data integration and be responsible for  designing and implementing business requirements as well as data accuracy in reports. You will  support the team in day-to-day SAP Business Intelligence  development and support, monitoring the production  environment, identifying and fixing issues, and improving system performance. As this role  involves daily interaction with the finance/accounting department, it is essential that you have a good  background in finance/accounting, and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Due to the rapid and continuous growth of the organization, the tasks and duties of this role may evolve over time. You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and to take on additional  challenges and responsibilities as they occur.
Skills

• Development and support of SAP BI environment in collaboration with finance/accounting stakeholders.

• Ongoing development and maintenance of SAP Web Intelligence reporting platform.

• Responsible for creating and updating existing Webi and Crystal reports.

• Should have strong knowledge on data modeling (BI Universe both UDT and IDT).

• Engage with users to understand their needs and develop/maintain reports and update the BI Universe based on the requirements.

• Good understanding of SAP BI upgrade process.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and solid SQL knowledge are essential.

• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with other BI tools such as Power BI.

• Communicate BI problems or issues, facilitate and track through an escalation process.

• Ability to have a good grasp of the details and manage multiple priorities. Able to work in a quick turnaround environment.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Superior attention to detail and quality required.

• Proven ability to adopt new technologies.
