Role Overview
We are hiring a Data Engineer focused on frontend event tracking and analytics reporting.
This role owns Segment event instrumentation, data reliability, and dashboarding for
product and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain frontend analytics events using Segment
- Partner with frontend teams to ensure correct event firing, naming, and schemas
- Build and manage data pipelines from Segment into BigQuery
- Use AWS orchestration and Google Cloud Functions for data processing
- Design analytics ready data models in BigQuery
- Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI, Looker, or similar tools
- Ensure data quality, documentation, and metric consistency
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Segment event tracking
- Strong SQL and BigQuery experience
- Hands on experience with BI tools like Power BI or Looker
- Familiarity with frontend analytics and event driven systems
- Experience working with cloud based data pipelines
