Summary:
As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. The role includes creating efficient data pipelines and ensuring the integrity and quality of data throughout its lifecycle. You will be responsible for implementing processes that enable smooth migration and deployment of data across various systems, collaborating with different teams to meet project goals and optimize data workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize data pipeline performance and scalability.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google BigQuery.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and data architecture.
- Ability to ensure data quality through validation, cleansing, and transformation techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and integration of diverse data sources.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues efficiently.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Google BigQuery.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
