The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical / Behavioural
·        Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology field.
·        7+ years’ experience, preferable within financial services and/or a shared service model
·        Strong attention to detail & analytical skills.
·       RMDS experience (PostgreSQL, SQL MI)
·        Designing and developing low to moderate complex data integration solution
·        Hands on experience of ETL/ELT tools (Informatica / Nifi / Snaplogic)
·        Experience in cloud services such as AWS or Azure
·        Understanding of Data Modeling
·        Experience with powerBI
·        Hands-on experience in building automation of CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins Core etc.
·        Experience in Python, Shell Scripting and Java or similar programming languages
·        Experience/Knowledge on Kubernetes and Containerization
·        Knowledge of Logging, Telemetry and data security on AWS/Azure
·        Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
·        Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets with ELT/ETL tools
·        Strong Data modeling experience for OLTP/OLAP and No SQL scenarios
·        Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
·        Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
·        Very good organizational skills. Knowledge of agile methods is a plus.
·        Successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets
·        Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
·        Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres DB
·        Experience with project management tools (agile tools), Office tools & presentation skills
·        Experience with Snowflake will be an added advantage
·        Good knowledge on ETL/ELT experience with both structured and unstructured data stores.
