Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and impactful Consumer Insights Analyst to support the Consumer Research & Insights (CR&I) function. In this role you will be responsible for supporting primary research needs through the collection, synthesis, analysis, and maintenance of data from a variety of sources to produce written deliverables and enterprise facing dashboards. The Consumer Insights Analyst will report into the Consumer Insights Manager and will collaborate with the onsite insights team to ensure work is delivered according to business team priorities and is of the highest quality.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Project Planning 

  • Collaborate with onsite insights team to prioritize work 

  • Identify research approach and methodology as part of research intake 

  • Proactively seek out and recommend new methodologies/analysis where needed  

  

Research Execution 

  • Execute quantitative research studies and analyze raw data using a variety of market research tools 

  • Work with various internal databases to append data where needed 

  • Synthesize insights from a variety of secondary research sources 

  • Write, program and oversee survey fielding 

  • Ensure data quality throughout the entirety of research execution 

  • Ability to learn new data and insights platforms as needed 

  • Adhere to project timelines and regularly provide project updates to onsite insights team  

  • Effectively prioritizes tasks and projects from both a timing and a resources standpoint 

  • Manage and coordinate with research partners, ensuring processes are running efficiently  

Reporting 

  • Create data focused slides for integration into insights decks 

  • Scope, build and maintain enterprise facing dashboards 

  • Pull additional data cuts when needed based on stakeholder and partner needs 

  • Access and work within tools 

  • Partner with other data reporting teams outside of CR&I, when applicable, to strengthen insights 

 

Qualifications 

  • 4.5+ years of custom research project experience, preferably on the market research supplier side  

  • Familiarity with a variety of market research methodologies, qualitative and quantitative, and their applications  

  • Proficiency with survey-analytics platforms 

  • Must be able to manage projects independently; be highly organized and detail-oriented  

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  

  • Team player with the ability to build good rapport  

  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills  

  • Intellectually curious and inquisitive nature 

 

 

 

 

Experience with the following tools and platforms is preferred: 

  • SPSS

  • Tableau

  • Decipher

  • SQL 

  • MarketSight/ Qualtrics/ Suzy

  • Rosetta
