Experience in Windows functions in SQL server, Common table expressions etc. Advanced level of writing stored procedures, reading query plans, tuning indexes and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, blocking and deadlocking Analysis, replication issues, security issues etc.

Experience in SQL Profiler and Extended events.

Maintaining detailed technical documentation.

Leads efforts to define database strategy, architecture, standards and procedures to preserve the integrity and security of company data resources.

Troubleshoot database problems and implement corrective measures as required.

Join our Database Platform team as a Lead Analyst and design, implement, and maintain the systems that are instrumental in our business functions.

1. SQL Server Administration: A strong understanding of SQL Server administration, including database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

2. Azure Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure services, particularly Azure SQL Database, including its features, limitations, and best practices.

3. Database Migration Techniques: Knowledge of various migration methods, such as backup and restore, database copy, Azure Database Migration Service, and Data Migration Assistant.

4. Data Security: Understanding of data security principles and experience in implementing security measures in Azure SQL Database, such as firewall rules, encryption, and access controls.

5. Networking: Understanding of networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, and connectivity options to ensure smooth migration and ongoing operation.

6. Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Azure CLI to automate migration tasks and streamline the process.

7. Backup and Recovery: Experience in implementing backup and recovery strategies in Azure SQL Database to ensure data integrity and availability during and after migration.

8. Performance Tuning: Ability to optimize database performance in Azure SQL Database, including indexing, query optimization, and resource utilization monitoring.

9. Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the migration process or after the database is migrated to Azure SQL Database.

10. Documentation: Capability to document migration plans, procedures, and post-migration configurations to ensure smooth handover and future reference
