We are looking for a talented Data Base Administrator who will be a part of an R&D team and has strong scripting and coding skills. An individual who loves working with data and solving a wide variety of issues utilizing his/her technical experience working with different database technologies and huge scales.
As DBA you’ll make an impact on
- Being a crucial part of the development process – from the planning phase to the execution and implementation.
- Participate in POCs and research activities to continue and better our offering.
- Work closely with various teams across the organization – development, product, architecture, etc.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex system flows.
- Being involved in the company’s projects’ lifecycle – from pre-sell, planning and development to site integration and post-handover support.
Your toolbox
- At least 3 - 5 years’ experience with Oracle databases / SQL Server.
- Proven experience in performance tuning;
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to tackle and resolve challenging tasks
- Proven experience working on Linux environment
- An ability to create and debug complex shell scripts for maintenance and deployment purposes – strong advantage
- Good Python knowledge – Advantage
- Greenplum DBA – Strong Advantage.
- PostgreSQL DBA -Strong Advantage.
- Sybase DBA - Strong Advantage.

- Willing to travel abroad-3 to 4 times per year (max 2 weeks each trip) – depending on business requirements
- Ability to learn and adapt fast to new vendors and technologies
- Availability to provide support on an on-call basis.
