Role Overview:

We are looking for a Designer to support the Brand Guidelines team in adapting and extending existing brand applications in line with established rules, systems, and structures. This role requires a strong understanding of brand systems and the ability to apply them consistently across multiple touch points while maintaining a high level of craft and precision.

As part of the Guidelines team within the Global Design Studio (GDS), you will contribute to the development of comprehensive brand and corporate guidelines for some of the world’s leading global brands across corporate, FMCG, and retail sectors. You will help translate brand strategy and design systems into clear, structured, and highly detailed guidelines that ensure consistent implementation across global markets.

Working closely with Design Directors, Senior Designers, Strategists, and wider creative teams, you will support the documentation, application, and extension of brand identities across a wide range of use cases. The role requires a detail-oriented and systems-focused designer with strong typographic, editorial, and layout capabilities, along with the ability to adapt existing brand assets seamlessly while preserving consistency and design integrity.

What you’ll do:

  • Adapt and evolve existing brand assets in line with established guidelines and design frameworks.
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all layouts and brand applications.
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve potential challenges related to brand application and system implementation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective execution of structured design systems across touch points.

What you’ll need:

  • Strong understanding of brand systems, layout structures, and visual hierarchy principles.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, with a working knowledge of Photoshop.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work effectively within established brand frameworks and systems.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage timelines and multiple deliverables efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Figma is an added advantage.

We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office around four days a week.

We build brands. We build futures. Landor, a WPP company, is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all applicants without discrimination or regard to particular characteristics, committed to a culture of respect where everyone belongs and can progress in their careers.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
